    Prior to establishing CITA, Dr. Ogungbangbe was the General Manager, Aviation Business at MRS Oil & Gas, seconded to Chevron Oil Nigeria Plc, as Aviation Marketing Manager – West Africa and later promoted as the, Group Aviation Manager – West & Central Africa, based in the Lagos office, where he was the focal point for all aviation fuel work for Corlay/MRS Group.

    He has also led many high profile industry group projects, serving as a member of FGN 6-man Ministerial Committee on Aviation Fuel Pricing & Product Availability. He was the Chairman of the management committee of Joint Aviation Facility in Kano, owned by Total, Forte, Oando and MRS. He was also a management member of JUHI concourse owned by Conoil, Mobil, MRS, Forte & Total.

    Dr. Ogungbangbe was a co-founder of SO Aviation (formerly Aviation Air & Land Services) during which period he was, Operations and Marketing Director at different times. His experience in Sahara Group, spanned a diverse portfolio of responsibilities ranging from, engineering, maintenance, marketing, and into-plane operations through to, strategic fuel procurement, market risk management and aviation insurance.

    Prior to joining Sahara’ SO Aviation, he had a brief stint as the Aviation Commercial Manager of National Oil & Chemical Marketing Plc (now Conoil Plc) in 2002 and later became the Aviation Operations Manager and Divisional Business Manager – of Conoil Aviation Service. He championed industry reforms on issues of, Discharge by Meter and Loss Prevention.

    Thomas is a scientist by training, holding a Bachelor and Masters from University of Ilorin and also a Masters of Philosophy and Doctoral degree in Marketing Strategy from Babcock University, Nigeria. His doctoral research work focused on Business Performance and Marketing Strategies of Domestic Airlines in Nigeria.

    Thomas is a Jet fuel airfield inspector, of IATA certified rating. He has attended several international training on Jet fuel by EI, ASTM, API & IATA. Thomas has attended leadership courses in University of Guadalajara, Mexico, Imperial College of Technology, Wye campus,Kent, UK and graduated as a Fellow of LEAD-Leadership on Environment and Development, UK. He also trained in Harvard Business School and an Alumni of Said Business School, University of Oxford, UK.

    Chief Operating Officer

    Olasimbo S. Betiku

    Olasimbo Sunday Betiku is a multi-skill Professional Engineer and Business Manager, who is the Chief Operating Officer of CITA Group. He is presently the National Vice Chairman of Aviation Fuel Marketers Association of Nigeria [AFMAN], (an umbrella body of all Jet fuel marketing companies in Nigeria] and the Technical Lead for JUHI-2 (a consortium of Seven Nigerian companies licensed to build the Second Jet Fuel Hydrant system at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

    He graduated with top grades in Mechanical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He also holds an MBA (Specializing in International Business Management) from Lagos State University, Ojo. He is a registered Engineer with Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and Member of Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE). Olasimbo attended the High Performance Leadership Program of Said Business School, Oxford University. He is a trained IATA International Fuel Quality Pools (IFQP) Inspector. He is also a professional member of International Facilities Management Association of America. He is an Oil and Gas (Aviation) industry champion with professional membership of: American Society of Mechanical Engineers; Energy Institute of London; and Project Management Institute of United States of America.

    Olasimbo’s working career started as an Engineer in a World-bank project management environment, before moving to manufacturing industry, thereafter to Power Systems before joining the Oil and Gas Industry. His Oil and Gas (Aviation) career started in Conoil PLC, which he joined as an Aviation Maintenance and Projects Engineer. He rose by dint of hard work and professionalism to the position of Head, Aviation Engineering Services for Conoil Aviation, Nigeria. While in Conoil, he pioneered diverse development initiatives and projects that made her brand gain prominence in the jet fuel market segment in Nigeria and beyond. As a process and Systems’ optimization and standardization expert, he institutionalized the best of processes and procedures for: Maintenance, Facilities Management, Safety, Quality Control, Inventory Management, Manpower Development and Project Management.

    Olasimbo also has to his credit presentation of lead papers and scholastic presentations on: Jet fuel supply chain management, Jet Fuel Systems Optimization and Natural Gas

    Head, Corporate Services

    Oluseyi Awodugba

    Seyi Awodugba is the Head, Corporate Services. He graduated from Adekunle Ajasin University and the Nigerian Law School; and was thereafter called to the Nigerian Bar. He practices in all areas of Corporate/Commercial law, Corporate Due Diligence/Regulatory Compliance, Real Estate, Tax and Litigation.

    He practiced at N. E. Tsobaza & Co., Oserogho & Associates, Fred Agbeyegbe & Co and Vita Veritas LLP, before joining CITA.

    The industry he displayed at N. E. Tsobaza & Co., led to his retention by the law office, at the end of his Youth Service attachment. At Vita Veritas LLP, he was the deputy anchor of the legal team that prepared the current operational league rules of the Nigerian Professional Football League, for the League Management Company.

    In recognition of his participation in moot court trials, and good work ethic, he was awarded Commendation Letters, by the Kano Campus of the Nigerian Law School and the firm of N.E. Tsobaza & Co, respectively.

    He was the inaugural executive secretary of Aviation Fuel Marketers Association of Nigeria [AFMAN]

    He holds a Masters of Law degree from the University of Lagos, Nigeria majoring in Secured Credit Transactions and Energy Law. He is also a Chartered Tax Practitioner and Arbitrator.

    He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, United Kingdom (Nigeria Branch).

    Finance Manager

    Temitayo Olaniyi-Moses

    Temitayo Olaniyi-Moses is a graduate of Accountancy from Lagos State Polytechnic. She holds a diploma in Computer Science from Lagos City Computer College and is currently taking a course on Business Studies at the University of South Wales, United Kingdom. She is an Associate Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

    She has 10 years qualitative experience and started her career with DN Meyer Plc (Meyer Paints) having joined as a Youth Corps member and was retained to join the Management Trainee program of the company, following her remarkable service. She rose to the post of, Assistant Financial Accounts Manager before joining Eshcol Consulting (an accounting firm).

    She has attended a number of professional trainings on supervisory and management skills and also an Intensive Training on IFRS Conversion by ICAN

    Product Manager

    Dupe Adegbenjo

    Dupe, holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy, from Lagos State Polytechnic, Nigeria; and is a Certified Accounting Technician by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

    She has over 15 years work experience at DN Meyer Plc, in Factory accounting, Sales Accounting and Treasury.

    She is responsible for Product/Stock Management for the entire CITA depot network.

    Dimeji Amao

    Dimeji is an astute Business Executive with over 25 years Commercial experience.

    Before joining CITA Aviation, he has consistently delivered bottom – line impacts in multinationals such as Globacom Limited, Friesland Campina WAMCO Nigeria Plc, Nigerian German Chemicals Plc and Churchgate Group.

    Dimeji is an alumnus of University of Ilorin where he obtained both his Bachelor and Masters Degrees. He has won several awards for excellence and exemplary leadership, also sits on the board of several budding indigenous firms.

    Internal Auditor

    Akinkunle Akinjide

    Akinkunle Akinjide is an Accountant by training, holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting from Lagos State University, Ojo (LASU), a trained information Auditor (Member of ISACA), he also holds a Senior Executive Masters in Leadership from Metropolitan School of Business and Management (UK) and he is a certified administrator, Member Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators (IPMAN).

    Akinkunle Akinjide is currently heads the Internal Audit department, working from the Lagos head office where he centralized product monitoring for the largest Spread Aviation Company in Nigeria, his work roles involve flow pass risk control and management, process and procedure evaluation, review and implementation to data processing and project management.

    Akinkunle Akinjide started his care as a finance officer in eStream Networks Limited a subsidiary of VDT Communications where he grew to the post of assistant manager-finance and manage the receivable desk of the organization.

    He later joined Acorn Petroleum Plc, and his job roles covered internal control, stock and procurement Audit and Account package implementation.
